Why us

A tour that gives something back to the city

Inside EcoMove's electric tuk tuk, with seats for four passengers

More than just a ride

Every booking sends €3 to the charity Nada es Imposible. That money stays in Málaga, with Málaga families.

Genuinely electric

100% electric vehicles with solar panels. Zero emissions in the historic centre and quiet enough to hear the city as you go.

Private, never shared

The tuk tuk is just for your group. You set the pace: if you want to linger somewhere, we stop.

Local guides, 4 languages

Driver-guides from Málaga who tell the city's story in Spanish, English, French and German. Just let us know when you book.

Charity Tuk Tuk

€3 from every booking stays in Málaga

It's not a percentage or a one-off campaign: it's a fixed amount from every tour that goes in full to the charity Nada es Imposible, which since 2015 has run a social food shop and a clothing bank for vulnerable and migrant families in the city.

We're part of the “Unidos por un Futuro” (United for a Future) alliance alongside the Asociación Nunca Solas, with institutional support.

Donated so far

€30

Based on the 10 bookings made on the website. It updates automatically with every new booking.

  • Social inclusion and support for vulnerable families
  • Support for women who are victims of violence
  • Training and help into employment

Ask on WhatsApp

How much does a tuk tuk tour in Málaga cost?

From €20 per person. The Express Tour (30 min) costs €20, the Standard Tour (1 h) €30 and the Premium Tour (1 h 30) €40, always per person, whatever the size of your group. Children aged 4 to 12 pay half price.

Can you tour Málaga city centre by tuk tuk?

Yes, and it's what this vehicle does best. The electric tuk tuk slips down old-town streets where a tour bus won't fit, takes you up to Gibralfaro without the steep climb and, with zero emissions and no noise, gets into restricted-traffic areas. All three routes go through the city centre.

How many people fit in a tuk tuk?

Up to 4 passengers per vehicle, plus the driver. The tuk tuk is private for your group: you don't share it with strangers. If there are more of you, we book several vehicles that travel together.

Do I need to book in advance?

You can book as little as 3 hours ahead, although in high season we recommend booking a couple of days in advance. We don't block out slots: we run several vehicles, so there's almost always availability.

Can I bring children?

Yes, and families ask us for it all the time. Children aged 4 to 12 pay 50% of the adult price. For safety reasons, children under 3 cannot ride in the vehicle.

What languages is the tour available in?

Spanish, English, French and German. Tell us your preferred language when you book and we'll assign a driver-guide who speaks it.

What happens if it rains?

Our tuk tuks have side covers against rain and wind, plus blankets in case it turns chilly. If bad weather makes the tour unsafe, we'll let you know and either change the date or give you a full refund.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes. Pets ride free, as long as their owner keeps them under control during the tour.

Is a tuk tuk the same as a tuc tuc or tuktuk?

Yes, it's the same vehicle spelt in different ways. In Málaga you'll see “tuk tuk”, “tuktuk” and “tuc tuc”: a motorised three-wheeler, in our case 100% electric and open-air, with room for four passengers.

Are the tuk tuks really electric?

Yes, they're 100% electric vehicles with a solar panel on the roof and no combustion engine. Zero emissions and almost no noise, which is exactly what lets you hear your guide and the city as you go.
